Pianist Diana Thacher is a versatile soloist, educator, and collaborative artist. She has earned top honors in international competitions and performed with orchestras at prestigious venues worldwide. Currently, she is a Visiting Assistant Professor of Piano at the University of Louisiana Monroe, principal keyboardist with the Baton Rouge Symphony, and a member of the chamber ensemble "Musaica" in New Orleans. With "Musaica," Diana promotes chamber music, new compositions, and revives lesser-known works. Additionally, she appears as a guest artist at festivals in the US, Canada, and Kazakhstan. Diana holds a Doctorate in Piano Performance from Louisiana State University and a Master's degree from the San Francisco Conservatory of Music.
